CASA Youth Advocates serves Delaware and Chester Counties by training and supporting volunteers who advocate for the best interests of children in the foster care system, ensuring they have safe, permanent homes and access to needed resources. Recent federal funding cuts have impacted the Older Youth Advocacy Improvement Project, aimed at improving outcomes for youth ages 14–21. This project invests in data tracking, enhanced training for staff and volunteers, and exploration of additional programming and resources for this age group.
