#10 Schuylkill Center for Environmental Education - Perch for a Migratory Songbird

$50.00

Founded in 1965, the Schuylkill Center for Environmental Education is one of the nation’s pioneering urban environmental education centers. Nestled within 365 acres of fields, forests, ponds, and streams in northwest Philadelphia, it engages communities through education, land stewardship, environmental art, and wildlife rehabilitation— including Pennsylvania’s first Nature Preschool. Its Wildlife Clinic, the only one in Philadelphia, provides professional care for sick, injured, and orphaned native wildlife such as songbirds, reptiles, amphibians, small mammals, raptors, and waterfowl. Serving thousands of animals each year, it operates a 24-hour hotline and offers both daily drop-off and after-hours emergency admissions.
